Tony Dollar is a songwriter, musician, producer and performer who has been creating and performing original music for over 20 years. The fellas talk in depth about the historic fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. and offer predictions on the outcome of the bout. This week the boys sit down with musician and songwriter John Lutzow. John is a seasoned musician with a heavy background in metal who has toured Europe, was part of the original Aurora, Colorado heavy metal scene, and is currently working on the acoustic project Tomorrow at Dawn. Ryan Waller is a German-born musician, songwriter, actor, and artisan who put down his roots in Colorado after a lifetime of being a nomadic military brat. He has been involved in instrumental performance and musical theatre since age six, trained in the classical tradition by his mother, and has enjoyed the good fortune of performing for a wide variety of audiences in the U.S. and Europe over a career spanning thirty years and counting. After settling in the Metro area, he made it his life’s mission to make his mark, however minuscule, on Denver’s rich and diverse cultures of music and art.

Episode 13

Listen in as Mike and Tony sit down with Tony’s dad and brother to celebrate life, the universe and everything! Tony’s dad Mo-Dawg is an interesting older dude who shares some cool stories, and makes sure to thoroughly embarrass Tony. Tony’s brother Dominic joins in on the fun this episode, making sure Tony takes his lumps. There definitely seemed to be some super-natural activity going on as the fellas get into scary stories, life on other planets, the Super Bowl and plenty of other topics.

*It should be noted that when mixing down Episode 13 (which is being released the week of Friday the 13th) Tony encountered some rather bizarre digital activity, and mysteriously, the difficulties with the mix started at exactly 14:34 in the podcast. This is when Tony shares the story of an infamously haunted hotel in Calfornia. Coincidence? You decide!

Episode 11

Episode 10

Brogan has been doing improv theater for the past two years. She started with taking classes at the Bovine Metropolis Theater School of Improv and has been performing in numerous groups around Denver for the past year. She is originally from Long Beach, California (SNOOP DOGG) and has been living in Colorado the past 15 years. When she is not wowing the world with her improv skills she is wowing the world with her financial aid counseling skills….she has been working in higher education for the past 10 years and loves helping students achieve their educational goals.


Episode 9

Andrew Wolfe is an MMA and Wrestling coach who currently lives in Colorado. He lettered four times and was a three-time regional qualifier in wrestling at the University of Oregon. Wolfe has also studied Jiu jitsu, Muay Thai and ventured into the world of MMA competition. Wolfe’s amateur MMA record is 3-0 with two wins by submission and one by TKO. He is a fierce competitor and a passionate coach with a bright future.

Episode 7

David “Fresh” Freshman is a musician, songwriter, performer, producer and engineer. Fresh started playing the violin in 1964, moved to the guitar in 1968 and has been creating and performing music ever since. He was born and raised in the ripe southern California music scene of the 1970’s and 80’s, performing at legendary venues such as the Whiskey a Go Go and sharing the stage with bands like Foghat. Tony and Fresh’s relation began in 2004 when they met at music bar in Aurora. The two started a band called Pilot Theory, performing live and recording for a number of years. Fresh and Tony remain close friends to this day and you can hear it in Episode 7.

Puff Puff Beer is a high-energy musical performance that combines flavors of blues, funk, and hip-hop into a unique style and sound. The band consists of vocalists Antione Simmons and DeJonii Desai, with Ryan Schaeffer on guitar, Isaac Schwartz on drums, Carson Smith on bass, and Ian McArdle on piano. Puff Puff Beer is hard hitting, booty shaking, pure, raw, energy.

Puff Puff Beer is a band based out of Portland, Oregon and Oakland, California. Started by lead singer Twonsaxx and guitarist Schaefboog, the band has a unique musical style that embraces the blues, rock n roll, and hip hop. We call this based rock.

Episode 4

Daelena Tinnin is a singer/songwriter who was born and raised in Colorado. She was a member of the band Kopesetic Soul, has participated in multiple music competitions and writes original music. Daelena is sharp, articulate and educated. She holds a degree in Journalism and Spanish, with a minor in Ethnic Studies from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Episode 3

Dom Empey is a Singer-Songwriter from Aurora, Colorado. He began writing poetry when he was ten years old. That later developed into writing lyrics when he was eighteen. He was inspired to do so when he heard The White Stripes White Blood Cells. His music is a mixture between Indie Rock and Neo-Soul. Dom got his name from a former teacher who would playfully call him son. He sang and wrote songs for his two previous bands Down Goes Frazier and The empeys. And hopes to break out with this new project Dom Empey. With help from various musicians the Broken Poet ep hopes to catch fire. And he hopes to steamroll any progress into even bigger success when he drops his first album. In five years he sees himself touring the U.S.A. and maybe even the world. Dom would like to thank his management Black Pearl Entertainment, Inc. and Dionna Harding for taking a chance on him.
