Episode 293: Do Your Squats, Boys
The Mike and Tony Show

It's another Friday night in the studio, and we’re back with the energy of two guys creeping toward 50 who have opinions. We kick things off with a surprise doctorate announcement , a real-life medical doctor who quit medicine to teach middle school, and the agreed-upon fact that med school is basically Navy SEAL training for academics.

From there it's a full spiral. Cable went from $300 a month to a dozen streaming subscriptions that somehow cost the same, and now the football game is on Netflix. What is happening? Then: are GLP-1s a miracle or a future broken hip? (Do your squats, boys.) And the plan to live to 375 as a RoboCop with a well-preserved brain.

Then the hood pops open. Why gas smells like childhood, why electric cars have to make noise (Tony’s niece sounds like a UFO pulling up), dream rides from a 1970 Buick GSX to Marty McFly's Toyota truck, the slammed mini-truck magazines of our youth, and one mechanic who charged $300 to "program" a part by clicking a button. Calculus, it was not.

Also, we're closing in on Episode 300, and Spotify may start deleting episode one at 301. Honestly? A public service.

All this and more on another episode of your two favorite regular-ass dudes just talking about life.

Cheers!
